Nigerian music producer and Mavin Records founder Don Jazzy has unveiled a technology scholarship programme for Nigerians seeking to acquire digital skills in 2027.
The programme, launched in partnership with TS Academy on Monday, October 26, offers successful applicants tuition discounts of up to 100 per cent for selected technology and digital skills courses.
The available courses include artificial intelligence and automation, cybersecurity, data analytics, software development, digital marketing, content creation, graphic design, product design, data science and virtual assistance.
Other options include project management, product management, DevOps engineering, frontend development and backend development. Most courses are described as beginner-friendly, allowing people without previous technology experience to apply.
Beyond tuition support, the programme offers practical training, mentorship, internship opportunities and job-placement support.
The initiative also includes 50 laptops for selected beneficiaries and internet data support for up to 500 students. However, access to these additional benefits depends on applicants’ eligibility, demonstrated needs and available resources.
Interested Nigerians can apply through the programme’s official website at https://donjazzy.tsacademyonline.com/
Applicants are required to select one course, complete the application form and indicate whether they need additional support, such as a laptop or internet data.4
Successful applicants may receive up to 100 per cent off tuition fees, depending on the scholarship awarded. However, the programme is not necessarily entirely free, as recipients are still required to pay an application fee, although a discount is available.
Applicants should review the official website for the full requirements and scholarship conditions before applying.
