The Kano State House of Assembly has confirmed six commissioner nominees sent to the house by Gov. Abba Yusuf.

The Kano State House of Assembly has confirmed six commissioner nominees sent to the house by Gov. Abba Yusuf.

The nominees were confirmed during a plenary session presided over by the Speaker, Jibril Ismail-Falgore on Monday in Kano.

The nominees are Rtd Air Commodore Salisu Yushau, Prof. Sani Lawan, Ibrahim Namadi, Mukhtari Yakasai, Dr Aminu Tsanyawa and Idris Mustapha.

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) recalls that the governor had earlier wrote to the house seeking it screened and confirmed the nominees as members of the State Executive Council.
