The Chief of the Air Staff has reiterated the commitment of the Nigerian Airforce to ending terrorist activities in the country.
The chief of Air staff who addressed officers and men at the NAF base headquarters in Yola, tasks them to redouble their commitment in carrying out their constitutional responsibility and play their part in ending violent killings and other security challenges.
 
The Chief of Air staff was received by the commander 153 base in Yola, Air Commodore Anthony Ndache, and other Air Commanders.
 
Air marshal Abubakar then went straight to address men of the Nigerian air force in the forefront of the fight against the insurgency. He tasks them to remain committed to ending terrorism in the country.
 
The air chief assured officers of government's commitment of ensuring a better welfare for officers and purchase of modern equipment for effectiveness.
 
 The air commander of the Yola NAF base, air commander Anthony Ndache assured the chief of Air staff of troops commitment in carrying out their duties effectively.
 
Adamawa state Governor thanked President Muhamadu Buhari and the armed forces for restoring peace in the state and northeast in general. 
 
Earlier the governor alongside chief of air staff and other dignitaries commissioned blocks of accommodations, hospital extension for officers and relaxation area at the NAF base, Yola.
