Governor Dikko Umaru Radda of Katsina State, paid a visit to Mrs. Amina Rabe Abubakar, wife of the late Major General Rabe Abubakar, at a medical facility in Katsina.

Mrs. Abubakar is currently receiving treatment after her rescue by troops from the captivity of bandits.

Governor Radda was accompanied by the Director General of the Media Directorate, Maiwada Dammallam.

During the visit, Governor Radda spoke directly with Mrs. Abubakar and the medical team attending to her. He assessed her condition and assured her of continued government support throughout her treatment and recovery process.

The Governor also commended the Nigerian Army for the successful operations. He thanked them for their professionalism and dedication in executing the rescue. He said their conduct reflected the high standards expected of the nation's security forces.

He went further to recognize their bravery and commitment to protecting citizens of Katsina State. Governor Radda noted that operations like this restore public confidence in the security agencies efforts to end banditry in the region.
