The Oyo state government has declared that there is no going back on it determination towards restoration sound moral and standards into public schools existing in the state.

Governor Abiola Ajimobi  who made the declaration in an interactive session with some students of public schools and other stakeholders at the International Conference Centre, University of Ibadan, stated that the era of truancy and disrespect for authority has no place in the public schools.

Governor Ajimobi maintained that his administration having achieved the task of improving the quality of education in the state, the teaching of sound moral and enforcing the virtue of hard-work is the next line of action.

Ajimobi, however appealed to all stakeholders including the recently constituted school governing boards across the state to continue to champion the course of restoring sound morals into schools.
