Kebbi State High Court Judge, Justice Faruku Bunza, has regained freedom after one week in the captivity of bandits.
Justice Faruku Bunza was abducted from his home in Bunza LGA on July 26, 2026.
The Kebbi State Police Command confirmed his release on Monday, with confirmation also coming from his family and the State Ministry of Justice.
Police PRO, SP Bashir Usman, said that although the kidnappers demanded ransom, the Command did not pay it, in line with its policy.
