OAP Do2dtun has slammed the Igbo traders who staged a 'China must go' protest at the ASPAMDA market in Lagos on Tuesday.
The protesters are demanding that Chinese businessmen leave Nigeria after accusing them of disrupting the business model that existed in their market before their arrival.
According to them, Chinese manufacturers now sell directly to retailers and consumers, sidelining their wholesale business.
Demanding an end to the practice, the protesters called for the Chinese to leave Lagos. They did so with megaphones and placards bearing different inscriptions.
Reacting, OAP Do2dtun reminded the traders that they had labelled South Africans as xenophobic when they chased Nigerians out of their country.
He shared on X, "Selective outrage. You hated the fact that you were asked to leave Lagos. You called it tribalism. You hated the fact that South Africans chased Nigerians out of South Africa. You called it Xenophobia.
"What do you call chasing foreigners out of a place cos they sell cheaper than you?
"If you make excuses for the latter, then you are a bloody hypocrite."
