Nigerian music star, 2Baba, is set to perform at a Lagos nightclub co-owned by his former partner, Pero Adeniyi, and her husband, Ochuko Agofure, in a development that has attracted attention amid reports of tensions in the singer's current marriage.

The singer will headline a show at Lasolas Nightclub in Iyana Ipaja, Lagos, on November 13.

Adeniyi announced the performance on Sunday in an Instagram post featuring a video of 2Baba confirming his appearance and inviting fans to the event.

In her announcement, she described the show as an opportunity for music, memories and new beginnings, suggesting that the booking was an unexpected turn of events.

"The legendary 2Baba will be live at LASOLAS Nightclub on November 13th! A night of timeless music, beautiful memories, and unforgettable vibes," she wrote.

She added, "Different chapters. New beginnings. Timeless music."

In the promotional video, the singer urged fans and clubgoers to attend the event and enjoy themselves.

"November 13 at Lasolas Night Club in Iyana Ipaja, everybody come out and let's enjoy ourselves. No shaking, let's be free," he said.

Adeniyi and 2Baba share three children: Ehikowoicho, Justin and Innocent Idibia Jnr. Their relationship became public in 2005 and remained a significant part of the singer's personal history.

2Baba later married actress Annie Macauley-Idibia in 2012. They have two daughters, Olivia and Isabella, but news of their separation emerged in January 2025.

The singer subsequently began a relationship with Natasha Osawaru, a member of the Edo State House of Assembly. He proposed to her in February 2025, and they married in July of the same year. The couple also held a dedication ceremony for their first child together in February.

His relationship with Natasha has attracted public attention following reports of disagreements between them, including a viral video in August that appeared to show a tense exchange at an Abuja nightclub.

Last month, Natasha also reportedly introduced herself at the Edo State House of Assembly using her maiden surname rather than the singer's name.

Meanwhile, reports indicated that 2Baba and Annie resumed following each other on Instagram in August, while the singer and Natasha stopped following each other on the platform.

The forthcoming Lasolas performance places the singer on the stage of a business co-owned by one of his former partners, with whom he shares three children.
