The Kano State House of Assembly has confirmed Sanusi Bature, spokesperson to Gov. Abba Kabir-Yusuf and Balarabe Saidu-Gani as Commissioners.
The duo were confirmed during a plenary session presided over by the Speaker of the State House of Assembly, Jibril Ismail-Falgore, on Tuesday.
Ismail-Falgore said the assembly had confirmed the duo after deliberations at the Committee of the Whole House.
The two names were sent by the governor to the assembly for screening and confirmation as commissioners.
The parliament had earlier screened and confirmed six commissioner nominees, namely retired Air Commodore Salisu Yushau, Prof. Sani Lawan, Ibrahim Namadi, Mukhtari Yakasai, Dr Aminu Tsanyawa and Idris Mustapha.
