A female aspirant, Mrs. Angela Dilioha, has declared her bid to contest for the House of Representatives seat for Udi/Ezeagu Federal Constituency on the platform of the African Democratic Congress, ADC.

Dilioha promised stronger grassroots development and better representation for women, youths, and underserved communities.

She made the declaration on submission of her nomination form at the ADC national secretariat, Abuja, saying her decision followed repeated calls from constituents, especially, women, who want improved representation.

Dilioha said that the years of male representation have not delivered enough progress in the constituency, adding that her ambition is driven by growing community support and demand for change.

She stressed that her agenda goes beyond gender issues, pledging to prioritise youths, the elderly, and rural dwellers, while addressing key challenges such as poor roads, limited education access, water scarcity and insecurity.

Dilioha also described the ADC as strong at the grassroots, noting that mobilization efforts are already underway across communities ahead of the election.
