The Oyo State Governorship Campaign Council of Allied Peoples Movement (APM) has expanded its campaign structure with new and expanded committees.
The council’s Director-General, Dr Nureni Adeniran, said in a statement issued on Wednesday in Ibadan that the expansion would strengthen grassroots mobilisation ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Adeniran explained that the restructuring was designed to enhance coordination, broaden participation and improve the effectiveness of the council’s operations across the state.
He said a new community relations and voters’ education committee has been established, while the existing mobilisation committee has been broken into specialised sub-committees.
He added that the expanded committees would be formally inaugurated on Friday by 3.00 p.m., at the Local Government Hall, State Secretariat, Agodi, Ibadan.
Adeniran expressed confidence that the new additions would boost the council’s capacity to engage communities, mobilise supporters, promote voter education and coordinate campaign activities statewide.
He reaffirmed the council’s commitment to building a robust and effective campaign structure, capable of reaching all communities and advancing the party’s electoral objectives in Oyo State.
