Dressed in black attires ,the students with different placards matched through major streets to demand an immediate  action by government to have their institution reopened for normal academic activities to commence after three months of their stay at home over disagreement with the state government and their lecturers over the relocation of the institution to Ipokia

There have been a face off between the state government and  members of the Academic Staff  Union Polytechnics (ASSUP) Moshood Abiola Polytechnic chapter, which has lead to an industrial action that has paralyzed academic activities in the institution.
