Authorities of Nigeria Police Force have denied the withdrawal of security operatives attached to Governor Ayodele Fayose of Ekiti State.

The Deputy Inspector General of Police, Operations, Josak Habila while speaking with Correspondent kunle Ojo in Ado Ekiti stated that all the securitymen attached to the Governor are still at their duty posts stressing that other officers attached to individuals and politicians in the state have been withdrawn.

Habila restated the determination of the police and other security agencies participating in the election to ensure adequate protection of lives and property of the people of Ekiti State.

He appealed to residents of the state to remain law abiding and comply with the provision of electoral laws.
