Dickson berates FG committee on flooding
Governor of Bayelsa state, Seriake Dickson has berated the federal government task force on flooding and ecological funds over what he described as being unfair to the plight of the state.
The incubent governor of the state made the disclosure while receiving a delegation of the federal government flood committee and ecological funds, who were on a fact finding mission to the state.
Speaking on the effect of flooding in the state and alleged neglect by the federal government, governor Dickson said the state which is under sea level have not receive its fair share.
Fielding questions from newsmen on the team assessment in the state, the leader of the delegation Mr. John Euril said a report on his findings will be submitted for appropriate actions.
The team is expected to proceed to Rivers and Delta state as part of his fact finding mission to flood prone areas in the Niger Delta.
