Controversy trails Ojudu's declaration
The Ogoga of Ikere Ekiti, Oba Adejimi Adu, and his chiefs have expressed their displeasures towards a statement credited to the Special Adviser to the President on Political Matters, Senator Babafemi OJudu.
Ojudu had during his declaration to contest for the Ekiti governorship poll, alleged that Governor Ayodele Fayose detained the Monarch of Ikere Ekiti.
But the Ogoga in council condemned the statement for what they called an embarrassment to the town as they maintained that they demand an unreserved apology from the governorship aspirant.
Ojudu who reacted from the UK through a phone call put through to him, however, said he was referring to a certain Olukere who was arrested and detained in the state.
