Despite the parade of suspected kidnappers believed to have abducted four British missionaries by the Delta state police command, the abductors who are believed to be hiding in the creeks of Bomadi community, have demanded for the whooping sum of N200m as ransom for their release.

An ex-militant leader made this known in a telephone conversation with Galaxy television correspondent. The ex-militant said the abductors have opened a channel of communication with the British government for the release of the victims.

According to the ex-militant leader, the suspects paraded by the police may have no link with the kidnap but a suspect identified as Karowei who is on the run, is believed to be holding the captives.

When contacted, the Delta police spokesperson, DSP Andrew  Aniamaka reiterated that four of the suspects paraded by the police are  members of the gang, and that the leader of the gang will soon be arrested with the Britons freed.

It will be recalled that the four Britons who are members of a humanitarian organization with head office in the UK, were kidnapped on the 13^th of October at Enekorogha community in Bomadi local government area of the state during a free medical service to community residents.
