Popular Ibadan-based cleric, Sheikh Taofeek Akewugbagold has disclosed that the Abductors of his twins have reached out to the family.

He said that the abductors assured his family that the victims were in good spirit

The cleric who disclosed this in a telephone conversation with journalists, however, refused to give details of the demands by the abductors

He confirmed that about four suspects have been arrested by the police but insisted that those arrested are his workers whom the police suspect.

Akeugbagold who prayed to God to touch the hearts of the abductors says he didn't want to involve the police or speak on the ransom being demanded.

The Public Relations Officer of the State Police Command, a Superintendent of Police (SP), Olugbenga Fadeyi confirmed the arrest of four suspects in connection with the abduction of the children adding that efforts have been intensified towards rescuing the twins.
