Parents of the kidnapped student of the college of forestry mechanization Afaka Kaduna have blocked the Mando express while asking the government to facilitate the release of their children within the next twenty-four hours.

The parents of the 39 students abducted by bandits say they observed with dismay that 12 days after their children were kidnapped, the government has not done enough to ensure the affected students are set free.

Addressing newsmen during the protest comrade Friday Sani said it is no longer news that their children are still in captivity, he also added that there was a need for the government to urgently facilitate the return of the student because of the conditions they were taken.

Some of the parents who spoke to our correspondent Bosan Yakusak said they are widows and orphans and don't have anyone to help them while pleading with the government to come to their aid.

The chairman of the 39 students of Afaka college of forestry mechanization Mr Sam Kambai says all efforts to reach the government has proof abortive as they are yet to hear anything from the government side.
