Officials of all states coordinator and students wing of Coalition of Northern Groups (CNG), NGOs and CSOs have kicked against the indictment of Deputy Commissioner of Police, Abba Kyari, by United States Court on his alleged involvement in charges filed by the Federal Bureau of Investigations (FBI).
The group, in a communiqué issued at the end of its roundtable conference held in Kaduna, described the purported reports as a breach of global standard legal and diplomatic practice.
Abdulazeez Sulieman chairman Communiqué Drafting Committee says the purported indictment of Abba Kyari by a US Court for involvement in charges filed by FBI against a suspected fraudster, Ramon Abbas popularly known as Hushpuppi must be looked into.
The coalition of northern groups also appealed to the government at all levels to look into the issue of insecurity as it affects education.
