| The wife of the governor of Ondo state, Mrs Betty Akeredolu has again reiterated her commitment to ensuring that the people of Owerri Zone senatorial district of Imo state get proper representation. The Senatorial made this known while meeting with stakeholders of her party in Owerri shortly after the conclusion of her tour around eight out of the nine local governments that made up the zone. A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress among her entourage Olushola Oke SAN, while speaking affirmed her ability to deliver if given the opportunity to serve in the red chamber The chairman of the party Mr MacDonald Ebere in his response assured them of a level playing ground for all aspirants during the primaries, he equally frowns at the act of certain persons who might want to toll the path of a campaign of calumny instead of issue base campaign. Speaking further, Mrs Akeredolu expressed delight over the stand of the state governor and the leadership of the party on a free, fair and credible primary. |
