Kunle Afolayan's son, Dieko, has marked his 21st birthday with a fashion-inspired photoshoot, months after pushing back against criticism of his appearance on social media.
The budding fashion model shared three studio portraits to celebrate the milestone, showcasing different poses in a tailored black suit against a warm brown backdrop.

The third photograph features him leaning towards a green-iced birthday cake decorated with gold beads and a gold 'Happy Birthday' sign.
The birthday celebration comes after the young model attracted attention over his appearance at the premiere of his father's film, Recall.
His appearance at the event generated mixed reactions online, prompting him to address the criticism in an Instagram post.
Defending his individuality, Dieko described himself as ambitious, hardworking and self-aware, while expressing his desire to inspire young people.
He wrote, “I am unapologetic about who I am, my values, and my standards.”
He also said he wanted to become a role model for both boys and girls, drawing support from some social media users who criticised the negative comments directed at him.
Dieko previously gained attention in 2024 after a video of him showing off his bag and outfit while shopping went viral.
His father, Kunle Afolayan, is a celebrated Nollywood filmmaker known for directing movies including The Figurine and October 1.
The filmmaker has also directed Recall, whose premiere brought renewed attention to his son's public profile.
