Nollywood actor Odunlade Adekola has celebrated his wife, Deaconess Ruth Abosede Adekola, on her birthday, sharing a glimpse into their love story.
In a birthday message posted on Instagram on Monday, November 2, the actor recalled meeting his wife about 22 years ago and approaching her to express his interest.
“I saw Madam Ruth Abosede Adekola about 22 years ago! I walked up to her and said, ‘My friend! I see what I want in you, can you be mine?’” he wrote.
Adekola also revealed that he became fully engaged to her 20 years ago, describing her as “the MOTHER of our KINGS.”
“I WILL LOVE YOU FOREVER MY NUMBER ONE FAN,” he added, while praying for God’s continued blessings on their home.
He also wished her a happy birthday, referring to her affectionately as his friend, baby and number one fan.
