Designer, Yusuf Abubakar Tumi has shared the final message he received from former Newcastle midfielder Cheick Tioté, who slumped and died during training.
Abubakar captioned the post: “Our last conversation this morning and he said ‘may Allah grant us paradise and not the luxury of this world."
“May your wishes be granted by your own words and I would pray always for you till we meet again.”
Cheick Tioté passed away at the age of 30, after collapsing in training with Beijing Enterprises in China. Hours before he slumped and died
He added: “May his gentle soul rest in peace.”
