Enyimba have axed goalkeeper trainer Sulaiman Shuaibu and given an ultimatum to the coaches to win in Mali or be sacked.

This followed the team’s 2-1 loss at home to AS Real Bamako of Mali in a CAF Champions League  first round, first leg match.

Enyimba chairman Felix Anyansi-Agwu told MTNFootball.com after a long meeting with the team at Abia Hotels that Shuaibu has been suspended till further notice for fielding an unfit goalkeeper in Femi Thomas.

Anyansi also disclosed that the coaches led by Zakary Baraje have been ordered to win and qualify the team to the next round in Mali or else be sacked.

Enyimba were lack lustre, while AS Real Bamako were a lot more organised and deserved their win.
