Super Eagles left winger, Samuel Chukwueze, paid a think you visit to Governor Alex Otti of Abia State at the Government House, Umuahia, on Sunday.
The visit of the AC Milan Forward included expression of gratitude for the support of the governor during the burial of his mother.
Governor Otti, hosting Chukwueze, disclosed that the state government has acquired land for the building of the proposed Umuahia Stadium City, adding that feasibility work is going on. He assured that construction will commence before December 2026.
According to the governor, the project is more than a stadium. It is a full sports village with hotels, estates and other facilities.
