AFCON Qualifiers: Babatunde Ruled Out Of Sudan Clash
Super Eagles midfielder Michael Babatunde has been ruled out of this weekend's game against Sudan.
Babatunde who is just making a comeback to the national team since after the 2014 World Cup tournament where he had surgery on a wrist injury, will sit out the match in Abuja with a muscle strain.
The Volyn Lutsk player revealed that he has been advised by the medical team to relax for a few days in order not to aggravate the injury.
Super Eagles coach,Stephen Keshi added that Babatunde will be available for the return fixture next week.
“We have good cover for him and we pray that he bounces back before the return leg against Sudan in Nigeria,” Keshi said.
