The Rivers State Governor Nyesom Wike has debunked claims by the Inspector general of police that Two hundred and twenty one police officers have been attached to him.
This is coming on the heels of claims by the governor that his security details had been withdrawn.
Wike who made this known to newsmen at the Shakes stadium in Port Harcourt, the Rivers state capital said that the Nigerian police should endeavour to be faithful in their dealings with Rivers state and in Nigeria at large.
Wike urged members of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) to relax and not see the issues happening at the National level as crisis that is beyond control.
He however pleaded to all Nigerians to pray for the peace and growth of the country during this Easter period.
