A support group, registered with the All Progressives Congress, APC, National Secretariat, Abuja, has inaugurated its national executive, signaling the start of grassroots mobilization for the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in 2027.

Chairman of the Group, Jeremiah Oladokun, a former lawmaker, representing Yagba West, urged women and youths to unite and actively participate in the electoral process, warning against voter apathy and disengagement.

He supported the continuation of the current administration’s policies, pointing to infrastructure projects, economic reforms, and empowerment initiatives as drivers of grassroots development.

Oladokun also called for an end to short term, election-driven empowerment, advocating sustainable programmes that promote entrepreneurship and self-reliance.

The Director General of the group, Alexander Akinwande, said the inauguration marked the launch of a nationwide structure to support the administration’s renewed hope agenda and 2027 re-election bid.

He noted that the group has spread across all 36 states and 774 local government areas, with a focus on skills development, entrepreneurship, and economic inclusion.

Akinwande added that nationwide campaigns and programmes will commence immediately to deepen awareness of government interventions and boost grassroots support.
