Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State may have missed communication target in commending President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for improving security in Nigeria.

Sanwo-Olu, acknowledging the rescue of Oriire LGA School children and teachers in Oyo State, commended President Tinubu for his commitment to improving security across the country. Meanwhile, the rescued victims have spent over 50 days in the custody of the kidnappers in cold forest.

Sanwo-Olu in a statement, declared: "I am thankful that the schoolchildren and teachers abducted in Ogbomoso have been safely rescued. Their return brings comfort to their families and everyone who prayed for their safe release.

"I commend His Excellency President Bola Tinubu for his commitment to improving security across our country and I salute the courage and dedication of the Nigerian Army, the Nigerian Air Force, the Department of State Services, the Nigeria Police Force and all the security agencies whose joint efforts made this rescue possible.

"My thoughts are with Governor Seyi Makinde, the people of Oyo State, especially the Ogbomoso community and the families who endured weeks of uncertainty. Their safe return brings hope and renewed confidence that, together, we can overcome the security challenges facing our nation."
