Police Arrest 2 Armed Robbers in Delta, Recover Guns

Operatives of the Delta State Police Command have arrested two suspected armed robbers in separate locations in Agbor and Ozoro. According to a statement by the Police Public Relations Officer, PPRO, of the State Command, Edafe Bright, one of the suspects, identified as Yakubu Musa, was arrested during a routine patrol along Alaka road in Ozoro, after failing to give a satisfactory account of the items in his possession, while further search of his residence led to the recovery of a Cut-to-size barrel gun. In another development, a Baretta Pistol was recovered from one Sunday Anaboro, who hails from the Orogun community, but resides in Agbor, when he was arrested during a stop and search exercise. Both suspects were said to have confessed being involved in armed robbery, and are presently in custody of the Delta State Police Command, awaiting prosecution.
