The governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in Osun State, Bola Oyebamiji, has assured residents of the state of a peaceful electoral process, emphasizing that the poll will be free from bloodshed, violence, and voter intimidation.
Oyebamiji gave the assurance in his hometown, Ikire, Irewole Local Government Area, during a solidarity prayer organised by the Ikire Muslim Community, where he also expressed confidence in winning the August 15 governorship poll.
The gathering was attended by Islamic scholars, traditional chiefs, and APC members, who appealed to residents of the state to set aside their differences and participate actively in the election for the benefit of all and the development of their communities.
