Nine teenagers have survived a multiple accident along the Warri/Benin expressway, when their fathers car was hit from behind by an heavy duty truck whose driver took to his heels sensing danger after the accident. The accident, which involved nine cars led to confusion as the children came out unhurt, while soldiers who manned a checkpoint along the highway were nowhere to be found after appearing briefly at the scene. Speaking on the cause of the accident, the father of the kids narrated how it happened, and blame the soldiers checkpoint as the cause. Also speaking, the chairman Warri South local government who visited the scene, refuse to blame the checkpoint for the accident, and advised ed motorists to be cautious. It would be recalled that the recent increase in criminal activities within Warri metropolis and environs, led to the security checkpoints currently experienced in the city.
