The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) says it will display voter registers and distribute permanent Voter Cards (PVC) to eligible voters in the state between Oct. 9 and 15.
Mrs Geraldine Ekelemu, Head of Voter Education and Publicity, disclosed this in a statement in Uyo on Thursday.
Ekelemu said that the exercise would take place between 9.00 a.m. and 3.00 p.m. during the scheduled period across the 329 registration areas and wards in the state.
She said that the exercise was for eligible voters who registered or transferred their voting locations during the first phase of the Continuous Voter Registration exercise conducted between August and December 2025.
The INEC official said that after the exercise, further collection of PVCs would be conducted at INEC local government area offices in the state.
She advised voters to check their names on the displayed register and verify their polling units.
Ekelemu said that no voter card would be given by proxy in accordance with the provisions of the Electoral Act.
She urged eligible voters to take advantage of the opportunity to verify their polling units and collect their PVCs ahead of the 2027 general election.
