The All Progressive Congress, APC, candidates have won the just concluded local government election in all the sixteen local government area of Ekiti state.

The results, which were announced by returning officers in different local government areas of the state, said the APC candidates scored a majority of lawful votes cast in the election. 

Speaking with newsmen after the announcement on Sunday morning, Chairman of Ekiti state Independent Electoral Commission, EKSIEC, Justice Babajide Aladejana commended the efforts of the returning and Electoral officers for a job well done. 

He stated further that the commission was not biased in the conduct of the exercise.
