Professor Pat Utomi has said the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) is practically begging Nigerians to vote them out.

According to him, despite the party's actions, some people are still searching for excuses to defend them.

"Many of us in Lagos, as well as other parts of Nigeria, have gone weeks, months and even years without electricity. Our roads are deteriorating before our eyes. We have seen videos of heavy-duty trucks getting stuck or breaking down on these terrible roads," he said.

Utomi lamented that refuse is piling up, raising serious concerns about sanitation and public health. He added that in many areas, streetlights no longer function, forcing people to navigate dangerous roads in complete darkness.

"What exactly are you defending? What has this government done to deserve another chance?

"How much more suffering must Nigerians endure before they realise that they are being taken for granted? The APC has shown little regard for the daily struggles of ordinary Nigerians, the best thing we can do is to send them packing come 2027, they've done more harm than good to Nigeria," he said.
