What could have been a disaster was averted on Saturday evening in Ado Ekiti when a school bus gutted fire.

The incident happened around the State University Teaching Hospital, Adebayo area of the State capital.

The occupants of the vehicles escaped unhurt before men of the Ekiti state fire service arrived the scene to put out the fire.

The driver of the bus said he regretted the attitude of passersby that were only interested in taking pictures and recording videos.

He urged Nigerians to stop putting blames at the feet of leaders as a lot can be done to help change the society.
