NSCDC Arrest Pastor for Impersonation in Ibadan

Officers of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, Oyo state command have arrested and paraded one Pastor Sam Femi Olukunle for allegedly impersonation.

The suspect claimed to be Evangelist and Gospel musician Bola Are’s manager. 

The arrest was made possible in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital after, Bola Are made a complaint about the activities of the impostor at Agodi office of the Corp.

It was learnt that the suspect defrauded innocent members of the public claiming to be the manager of Bola Are for years but luck ran out on him when Are was invited for 2020 Christmas carol service in Govt. House Ibadan and he was arrested.

His name has also been found on some posters printed with the name of Bola Are.

According to the Commandant of the Corp in the state, Iskiku Akinsanya, during cross-examination, it was discovered that he has defrauded a lot claiming that he also works with WAEC Office.

The Commandant of the NSCDC, Iskilu Akinsanya said the agency will not condone any act that will tarnish image and reputations of any well-meaning Nigerian while he warned those who engage in such act to desist from or face the wrath of the law.
