The House of Representatives has urged states seeking international loans to channel the loans to projects that will positively impact on the economy of the state and the nation in general.

The call was given at the public hearing of the House committee ‎on Aids, Loans and Debt Management.

The commitee insists that only development driven loan quest will enjoy the endorsement of the Green chambers.

It would be recalled that three state has appeared before the committee to defend their respective loan quests on the second day of the committee's public hearing.

The states seeking international loans awaits the approval of the National Assembly for activities.

Kaduna state seeks the approval of the National Assembly for the sums over N45bn target at funding agriculture and infrastructure, Katsina, the President's home town seeks for the approval of about N34bn to build a robust health system in the state.
