A Popular caterer and joint operator known as Folake Hossanh operating in Igbo-Ora, Ibarapa central-local government area of Oyo State have been kidnapped by unknown gunmen.

The kidnappers, it was gathered swooped on the area to abduct the woman few minutes after closing for the day's operation on Sunday evening. An eyewitness account has it that the abductors only announced their arrival through gunshot in the area which injured four persons.

It was gathered that While being whisked away, the victim was pleading for mercy as she was hurled into the car. Our Correspondent learnt that the abductors have contacted the family of the victim demanding for #12 million ransom while the family is yet to make any arrangements as to the payment of the money.

When contacted, the Commissioner of police in the state, Shina Olukolu confirmed the incident in a telephone interview saying the woman was abducted by her regular customer.

Olukolu added that his men are presently working on information that will lead to the rescue of the victim.

 Recall that officers from the homicide section of the state police command last Wednesday in Igbo-Ora exhumed the remains of a woman who was strangulated to death by a spiritualist in the town.
