Goodluck Jonathan has calls for change in the security system of the country
The former president of Nigeria, Goodluck Jonathan has called the federal government to change the security system of the country for better performance.
Jonathan made this call in Akure when he paid condolence visit on Afenifere leader, Pa Reuben Fasoranti over the killing of his daughter, Funke Olakunrin.
The former president condemned the killing of Funke Olakunrin who was traveling from Akure back to her base in Lagos by the suspected Fulani herders.
Good luck Jonathan said though insecurity has been one major challenge that has been bedeviling this country including his tenure as the president but said the rate of insecurity this time is alarming and therefore required thorough and decisive measure.
He said government needs to infuse fund judiciously to redirect security network across the country.
