Bayelsa police launch operation puff adder
In line with the directives from the Inspector General of police Mohammed Adamu, the Bayelsa state police command has launched operation Puff Adder to combat criminals and their activities.
The launch which took place at the command's headquarters in Yenagoa saw stakeholders from all walks of life witnessing the display by the special squad of the police.
The exercise which includes drills and display of hardware’s in public glare, saw the police commissioner speaking on their preparedness.
He warned criminals to turn a new leaf as some stakeholders call for proactive measures in tackling crime.
The launch of operation Puff Adder which includes drafting more policemen to the state will help in checking the increase in cult-related killings in the state
