The federal government has expressed interest in having a deeper business relationship with the Japanese government to ensure togetherness and unison.

Minister of finance, Kemi Adeosun gave the indication while playing host to some parliamentarians from Japan in Abuja, on Tuesday, January 9.

Adeosun said the deeper business relationship will help grow the country's economy.

The minister added that the country has moved into another era with the fight against corruption and efforts to improve the livelihood of its citizens.

She appreciates the money donated by the Japanese government to support polio eradication, stating that, the donation went a long way in ensuring Nigeria being pronounced polio-free.

Adeosun further assured that every investor from Japan will receive a very warm welcome into Nigeria.
