Adamawa Governor Appeal to FG to Rebuild Garkida Town After Boko Haram Attack

Adamawa State governor has appealed with the Federal Government to rebuild Garkida town in Gombe local government after the Boko Haram attack on Friday.

Governor Ahmadu Fintiri stated this when he visited the affected local government to commiserate with the people and ascertain the level of destruction.

Fintiri said the destruction is enormous, however calling on the people of the Gombi local government not to give up as government has put measures to protect the lives and their properties.

Also, the Brigade commander 23 command Brigadier General Gambo Mohammed says normalcy has since return and the military has beef up security to avoid the recurrence of the evil act.

Some of the Garkida people who narrate their ordeal says the attack was a plan one because the insurgents were identifying houses before burning them.
