The federal House of Representatives has promised residents of Ekiti state that it will collaborate with the federal ministry of works and housing for the speedy reconstruction of the Ureje bridge and other federal roads in Ekiti state.
This was disclosed by the chairman, house committee on federal roads maintenance agency Femi Bamisile during an inspection of the collapsed bridge in Ado Ekiti.
He said the house committee will meet with the minister of works and housing Raji Fashola to fashion out modalities for the repairs.
Bamisile said Government will ensure the safety of lives and properties of residents through the provision of motorable roads.
