It explained that the Commission’s approval has been communicated to the Inspector General of Police, IGP, Dr Adeolu Olukayode Egbetokun for implementation, in a letter signed by the Secretary to the Commission, Chief Onyemuche Nnamani.

It added that the Commission Chairman, DIG Hashimu Argungu rtd, has congratulated the new Commissioner and advised that he should use his new office to ensure that Ogun State is properly policed where law and order are maintained and crime and criminality are drastically reduced.

DIG Argungu said that the Commission would continue to support the Police in any way possible to ensure a safe environment for Nigerians.
