The incident reportedly occurred at about 1:45 p.m. near the Berger Pedestrian Bridge, inward Mowe.

According to an incident report by the Lagos State Traffic Management Agency (LASTMA), the 40-foot truck lost control and crashed into two buses carrying passengers. The collision resulted in casualties, who were taken to an Emergency Unit for medical attention.

The crash has also caused traffic to build up along the expressway, with the congestion reportedly extending backwards towards the Otedola area.

Further updates on the evacuation of the vehicles and recovery operations are expected as efforts continue to clear the scene and restore normal traffic flow.
