However, a coordinated intervention by LASEMA, the Lagos State Fire and Rescue Service, the Lagos Neighbourhood Safety Corps and the Nigeria Police Force prevented the inferno from spreading to the filling station and nearby buildings.

LASEMA said about 21 exotic vehicles were affected, while a section of a neighbouring building sustained minor damage.

The agency confirmed that no casualty or injury was recorded, adding that the fire had been completely extinguished and damping-down operations concluded.
