Edo state governor Godwin Obaseki has accused the incoming administration of the governor-elect Monday Okpebholo for allegedly abducting the state accountant general to destabilize the state.
Governor Obaseki made the remarks at the sideline of the commissioning of the Stella Obasanjo referral hospital in Benin City the Edo state capital.
The governor frowned over what he described as the peddling of lies by the incoming administration to the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission EFCC, which have led to the detention of the state accountant general for almost a week.
