Rivers state governor Siminalayi Fubara has promised to implement the report of the Judicial commission of inquiry, set up by him to find out the remote cause of the killings and burning of some local government councils in October this year.

Governor Fubara made the disclosure when he received the seven member committee led the chairman Justice Roseline Ibiwengi at the government house in Port Harcourt.

Addressing the committee members after receiving the detailed report, the Rivers state governor said he will not be a party to any system that will encourage destruction in Rivers state.

The governor promised to put a stop to violence in the state as the chairman of the commission spoke on their findings.
