The Ekiti State government said it is disposed to ensuring peaceful and credible conduct of the December the seventh local government elections in the state.
The state government said a major step to further ensure this is the inauguration of a Sensitization Committee for the election headed by the State Commissioner for Information Muyiwa Olumilua
The secretary to the state government Biodun Oyebanji who inaugurated the committee said Citizens education, voter mobilisation and enhancement of the franchise of the electorate form the brief of the committee.
On its part the Committee headed by the commissioner for information, Muyiwa Olumilua assures democracy will have its rightful place in the election while no one will be allowed to foul the process.
